Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- As a result of the intensified anti-illegal drug operations like buy-bust and service of search warrant conducted by the personnel of PRO MIMAROPA and due to the continuous monitoring and evaluation by the Regional Oversight Committee on Illegal Drugs, three (3) Municipalities in MIMAROPA with thirty-four (34) barangays were already declared as “Drug Cleared” barangays on May 11, 2017.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- Two (2) personnel of Boac Municipal Police Station namely SPO2 Nelson N Ricohermoso and PO2 Jeffrey M Gutierrez sustained severe injuries on the different parts of their bodies when the eighty-two (82) boxes with 100 pieces each box of 5 Star firecrackers accidentally exploded about 2:40 PM on May 10, 2017, in Barangay Santol, Boac Marinduque.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PCSUPT WILBEN M MAYOR, Regional Director immediately ordered his men to even more stepped up on their    security measures right  after the issuance of the U.S. Embassy’s Travel Advisory, warning its citizens about the terrorist groups who are planning to conduct kidnapping targeting foreign nationals in the Province of Palawan including  Puerto Princesa City and the areas surrounding Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.
