Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- As one of the initiatives of this Region under the stewardship of PCSUPT MELITO M MABILIN, Regional DirectPCSUPTPENAVISITor, PRO MIMAROPA, in inviting the former officers assigned in this Region to be a part the Distinguished Visitors Program, PCSUPT DENNIS JURILLA PEÑA, was the former Deputy Regional Director for Operations (DRDO) of this Region, from May 12, 2010- May 24, 2011, and the current Deputy Regional Director for Operations, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), gladly accepted the invitation as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, coinciding with the Traditional Monday Flag Ceremony held in front of the Regional Headquarters, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on February 24, 2014 at exactly 8:00 AM.

PCSUPT PEÑA belongs to the PMA Class “MATIKAS” of 1983 and was the former Provincial Director of Palawan PPO and Officer-in-Charge of Oriental Mindoro PPO and became the member of Directorial Staff of PRO MIMAROPA from 2006-2012.

The said celebration was highlighted by the awarding of medals to the deserving PNP personnel in recognitions of their invaluable support rendered that contributed immensely to the overall accomplishment to PRO MIMAROPA namely: PINSP ERIBERTO BASIA DE MESA, Regional Intelligence Division (RID), received Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal), for his direct control and supervision during the conduct of operation on February 9, 2014 at Bgy. Inogbong, Bataraza, Palawan which resulted in the arrest of two (2) wanted CNN members namely;

Gilbert Silangan @ Ka Glenn, Provincial Operational Commander of the Kometing Probinsyal (KOMPROB)- Palawan and Alma Morena @ Ka Carol/Cacai, a medical Officer. Among with other members of the said Division that makes the operation successful are SPO2 Philip Lañog Villapando and PO3 Rona Linga Morales were been awarded with a Medalya ng Papuri. Said operation was conducted by joint elements of Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 4B, Palawan Police Provincial office and Regional Intelligence Division (RID).

While other PNCO’s were also recognized for their field of work namely; SPO3 Manuel T Talattad, Chief Clerk, Regional Comptrollership Division (RCD) receive Medalya ng Kasanayan. The Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting (PNP Wounded Personnel Medal), was awarded to PO3 Alejandro Rom Anila, for having been wounded in action during a shooting incident at Brgy. B. Del Mundo, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, on August 1, 2013 at 1:05 A.M., while conducting monitoring on a reported illegal logging, he was shot by three (3) illegal loggers on different parts of his body. With his actions, PO3 Anila earned credit not only for himself but also for the entire Philippine National Police.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PRO MIMAROPA is now accepting applicants for uniformed and non-uniformed personnel for Calenday Year 2014. NUPrecruitment2014

 

The said hiring of the uniformed personnel is to achieve the ideal police ratio 1:500 and the hiring of civilians aims to increase the number of policemen deployed in the streets to fight criminality by replacing almost 4,500 policemen performimg administrative duties in the Police Stations and other police units nationwide. Succesful applicants will receive as much as, Php 16,051.00 in monthly salary, Php 5,000.00 in yearly clothing allowance, Php 21, 051.00 in 13th monthly bonus and other benefits.

 

The following are the required minimum of qualifications for Uniformed personnel: (a) a citizen of the Philippines (b) a person of good moral character (c) must have passed the psychiatric/psychological, drug and physical test to be administered by the PNP (d) must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized learning institution (e) must be eligible- PNP Entrance (NAPOLCOM), RA No 1080 ( Bar and Board examinations), PD No 907 (eligibility granted to College Honor Graduate) and Carrer Service Professional (f) must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude (g) must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government (h) must be al teast one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62m) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven cemtimeters (1.57m) for female (i) must not ne less than twenty-one (21) or more than thirty (30) years of age on the date of appointment.

 

In addition, the following are the documents required in filling an application (a) Civil Service Personal Data Sheet (Revised 2005) (b) NSO- authenticated Birth Certificate (c) Authenticated Certificate of Eligibility (d) 2 pcs 2x2 colored picture with name tag, 1 4R half body picture and 1 4R whole body picture (e) Authenticated Transcript of Records/Diploma ans (f) Local Clearance such as Barangay, Police, RTC/MTC and NBI.

 

For the Non Uniformed Personnel (NUP) the minimum requirements are the following: (a) he/she must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized learning institution (b) must be eligible- Career Service Professional (c) Trainings/ seminars or graduate of similar is an advantage.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- Joint effort exerted by the Regional Police Community Relations Division headed by PSSUPT ABAD H OSIT and Mindoro Oriental Police Provincial Office headed by PSSUPT RONALDO F DE JESUS, Provincial Director in coordination with Mindoro Oriental Blood Council with Hon. Humerlito A Dolor, MPA, Ph. D., Vice Governor, Chairman resulted to the conduct of the said activity entitled ”Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay” held at the Conference Room of Oriental Mindoro Provincial Police Office on February 12, 2014 at 8:00 A.M.

The said activity aims to increase the number of bag blood supply ready to be used during an emergency situation not only by the people of Oriental Mindoro but of all its nearby provinces.

There were sevety (70) bags of blood collected from the PNP during the said activity which could already help one hundred forty (140) patients for blood transfusion.
