Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PCSUPT RODEL DUTERTE CALUNGSUD, Director, Communications and Electronics Services was cordially welcomed by PCSUPT DENNIS J PEÑA, Acting Regional Director, PRO MIMAROPA during his visit to PRO MIMAROPA for the Turn-Over of Radio Communications Equipment at PRO MIMAROPA Conference Room, Camp Efigenio C. Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro at about 8:00 AM of June 11, 2014.

 

A total of one hundred fifty (150) Motorola handheld radios with complete accessories were handed over to PCINSP BENSON P BUGNA, Chief, Regional Communications and Electronics Services 4B.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- The tenth (10th) class of the forty-five (45) days Criminal Investigation Course Class 242-2014 composed of sixty- four (64) participants concluded at about 9:00 AM of May 20, 2014 at the Conference Room, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City with PCSUPT DENNIS J PEÑA, Acting Regional Director as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.ciccourse2014

The said course was crafted as part of the PNP’s “investigative capability project” that aims to develop human resources and formulation of needed basic and standard procedures in the conduct of investigation of crimes.

Out of the sixty-four (64) participants, PO1 Jhondel M Formanes, Palawan Police Provincial Office garnered the highest rating of 92.47%, followed by PO1 Jonnah Micah E Capio of Mansalay MPS, Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office garnered the second place with 92.38% and SPO1 Loida I Mendoza of Regional Headquarters with 91.96%.

PCSUPT PEÑA was accompanied by PSSUPT VIRGILIO CULATON PARROCHA, Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PSSUPT MICHAEL I BAYSA, Chief, Personnel and Human Resource Development Division, PSSUPT FLORENDO CAMPO QUIBUYEN, Officer-In-Charge, Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division PSUPT RONNIE VISCO, Training Manager, Regional Special Training Unit, Lecturers and Training Staff.

PCSUPT DENNIS J PEÑA, Acting Regional Director, PRO MIMAROPA enjoined the graduates to put into actions all the knowledge and skills that they have learned during their training.

Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City- PSUPT IMELDA V TOLENTINO, Chief, Regional Women and Children Protection Desk conducted a three (3) day Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) Orientation Seminar on May 19-21, 2014 at Conference Room, Camp Efigenio C. Navarro, Calapan City Oriental Mindoro.

 

Thirty-eight (38) policewomen who were newly graduates of the Modified PNP-Special Counter- Insurgency Operations Unit Training (SCOUT) participated in the said seminar. After which, they will be downloaded to all Police Provincial Offices down to all Municipal Police Stations as WCPD PNCOs.

 

Simultaneously, their male counterparts are undergoing seminar on First Responders under the supervision of PSSUPT FLORENDO CAMPO QUIBUYEN, Chief, Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division. The objective of the training is to teach them on how to preserve and collect relevant information and physical evidence that will make a connection between all parties involved targeting the end result of the well done investigation to ensure that justice is served.
