Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office arrested one (1) individual with one (1) at-large during an anti-illegal logging operation in Sitio Tinangra, Brgy. Tubili, Paluan, Occidental Mindoro on October 24, 2023 at around 4:30 AM.

Police report revealed that alias “Larry”, 30, was arrested by joint personnel from Paluan Municipal Police Station and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company Occidental Mindoro PPO, after being found to be in possession and control of undocumented cut lumbers (GIHO species), while a certain alias “Randy” remains at-large.

Recovered from the crime scene were approximately 462.77board feet of cut lumbers with an estimated amount of Php18,510.00.

The suspect is now under police custody pending the filing of charges of violation of Presidential Decree No. 705.
