Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN JOEL B DORIA, Regional Director, conducted pre-recognition rites to sixteen (16) pupils of Young Eco-Warrior Child Development Center (YEWCDC) for SY 2022-2023 with Dr. Maria Luisa D. Servando, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, DepEd Oriental Mindoro, as the guest of honor and speaker, represented by Dr. Haide M. Padua, OIC, Chief Education Supervisor, School Governance and Operations Division held here on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

During the event, Dr. Padua, assisted by PCOL NATHANIEL G VILLEGAS, Chief of Regional Staff; PCOL ADONIS B GUZMAN, Chief, RCADD; PLTCOL SONIA B GAVIANA, Asst. Div. Chief, RCADD; and PLTCOL EMERSON A TARAC, Chief, CRMC/IORC, RCADD awarded the ribbons of meritorious and exemplary behavior to all the learners of YEWCDC.

In her message read by Dr. Padua, Dr. Servando expressed her appreciation to all the teachers and parents for the fantastic role they played to facilitate the learning process of the pupils.

“As parents and teachers, we do put a lot of time and energy into preparing our children for their future. Inihahanda natin ang ating mga anak na magkaroon ng lifelong skills to prepare them for adulthood, at ito ay resposibilidad natin bilang mga magulang,” she said.

She further encouraged the learners to cherish the values and learnings they acquired throughout the school year in YEWCDC.

“Laging ninyong tatandaan ang inyong mga natutunan. Hindi importante kung gaano karaming ribbons at medals ang natanggap nyo ngayong araw na ito, Ang importante ay ang values at experiences na natutunan nyo sa buong taon na inyong dadalhin hanggang sa inyong paglaki,” she emphasized.

The said event was made more significant with the gift giving of schools supplies to all the learners, facilitated by Dr. Padua and the personnel of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD).

The YEWCDC provides early childhood care and development to the dependents of PRO MIMAROPA personnel aged zero to five years old.

Since its establishment on June 10, 2019, the said event was the first face-to-face pre-recognition ceremony conducted by the YEWCDC after the COVID-19 pandemic.
