Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – A total of 169 police recruits took their oath of office as the newest members of Police Regional Office MIMAROPA during the oath-taking and turnover ceremony of PNP candidates administered by Police Brigadier General SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA, Regional Director of Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, held at the PRO MIMAROPA Headquarters, Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Brgy. Suqui, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on Friday, May 27, 2022.

The police recruits are composed of 137 males and 32 females, who successfully hurdled the tedious examination and screening processes for CY 2021 Cycle Patrolman/Patrolwoman Attrition Recruitment Program (Unfilled Quota).

The recruits were turned over to the Regional Training Center MIMAROPA in Bansud, Oriental Mindoro for Phase 1 of the Field Training Program, the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) for six months. Upon completion of the training, another six (6) months will be spent for the Field Training Exercise (Phase 2 or the on-the-job training).

“The profession you have chosen is one of the most challenging jobs. You must bear in mind that this is a lifetime commitment and your decision to enter the police service must have been influenced by your desire to serve God, the country, and the people, and not for any personal motive or gain”, PBGEN HERNIA said.
