Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Two members of Milisyang Bayan under the Kilusang Larangang Gerilya Mark Anthony Velasco (KLG MAV) of the Sub-Regional Military Area (SRMA-4D) voluntarily surrendered to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB 4B) in Oriental Mindoro on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 12:30 PM.

RMFB 4B Commander Police Colonel ROLANDO C LAMPAD revealed that “Ka Apoy”, 51; and “Ka Paniki”, 46, all residents of Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro voluntarily surrendered to the elements of 403rd B Maneuver Company led by Police Captain ARIES-JOI M ADORIO located in Brgy. Cabalwa, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro.

The surrender of the said Milisyang Bayan members was made possible through the continuous negotiation of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion; 105th Special Action Company underq 10th SAB, PNP-SAF; Regional Intelligence Unit 4B; Provincial Intelligence Unit, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Mansalay Municipal Police Station under Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office; Regional Intelligence Division of PRO MIMAROPA; Military Intelligence Company and 4IB, 203rd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army. The said surrenderers are now under the custody of RMFB 4B for debriefing prior to their enrollment in the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

Statistics disclosed that there were already 76 CTG members who surrendered to Police Regional Office MIMAROPA from January 1-May 25, 2022.

Police Regional Office MIMAROPA Director Police Brigadier General SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA lauded the concerned units for the successful surrender was a direct outcome of the PNP’s relentless counter-insurgency campaign, in active partnership with the Philippine Army, and other government agencies under the NTF-ELCAC (National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict).
