Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, arrested two most wanted individuals and seven others in separate law enforcement operations conducted throughout the region on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Police reports revealed the two most wanted persons as alias “Ruben” aged 52, and alias “Fernan” aged 19.

“Ruben”, ranked as the MIMAROPA’s top 5 most wanted, was arrested in Brgy. Zone 4, Socorro, Oriental Mindoro, by the elements of Socorro Municipal Police Station together with CIT Oriental Mindoro RID 4B, PIT Oriental Mindoro RIU 4B, Oriental Mindoro PPO PIU, 2nd Platoon 1st PMFC, ESOL, 301st 2nd AISS, 301st SMG, 300 AISW PAF, Oriental Mindoro Maritime Police Station, and 404th B MC RMFB, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 41 in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro, for the crime of Rape thru Sexual Assault in relation to RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648 (2 counts), with recommended bail amounting to PhP200,000.00 each.

“Fernan”, listed as the top 9 most wanted in Oriental Mindoro, was apprehended in Sitio Saclag, Brgy. Caagutayan, San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro, by joint elements of San Teodoro Municipal Police Station and 404th B MC RMFB, based on an arrest warrant from the Regional Trial Court, Branch 39 in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, for the violation of RA 6539 as amended by RA 10883 (Carnapping) with bail set at PhP300,000.00.

Additionally, the seven other wanted persons arrested were alias “Crestian” (30), for the violation of RA 9262; alias “Norman” (21), and alias “Leonardo” (43), for Robbery; alias “Priscilla” (70), for Libel in relation to RA 10175; alias “Mark Anthony” (30) for violation of MTC Route; alias “Mark” (37), for Serious Oral Defamation; and alias “Jerwin” (19), for Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610.

The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
