Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Two (2) individuals wanted for rape were arrested in police law enforcement operation in Brgy. Poblacion, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro on the evening of July 4, 2023.

Police report revealed that Ronie Jay Buenbrazo Axalan, 20, and Jezreel Arcilla Evangelista, 18, were apprehended by the personnel of Puerto Galera Municipal Police Station, with assistance from Oriental Mindoro PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit and 404th B Maneuver Company RMFB.

The arrests were made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Branch 11 (Family Court) in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro for the crime of Rape in relation to R.A. 7610 as amended by R.A. 11648, with no bail recommended.

Arrested persons are now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing courts for proper disposition.
