Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA, under the leadership of Police Brigadier General ROGER L QUESADA, arrested three most wanted persons and three others in separate manhunt operations launched regionwide on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Records from the PRO MIMAROPA Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division revealed the three most wanted persons as alias “Michael”, 21, alias “Antonio”, 57, and alias “Jaymark”, 24.

“Michael”, ranked as Oriental Mindoro’s top 5 most wanted, was arrested in Brgy. Poblacion, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro by the personnel from Mansalay Municipal Police Station together with Oriental Mindoro PPO 2nd PMFC, 403rd B MC RMFB, PIT Oriental Mindoro, and RIU 4B, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 43 in Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, for the non-bailable crime of Rape (2 counts).

“Antonio”, ranked as Occidental Mindoro’s top 6 most wanted, was arrested in Brgy. Caminawit, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, by joint elements from San Jose Municipal Police Station, Occidental Mindoro PPO 1st PMFC, PIU, and Maritime Group 4B, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro for the non-bailable crime of Statutory Rape.

“Jaymark”, listed as one of the most wanted persons in Palawan, was arrested in Brgy. Abongan, Taytay, Palawan by joint personnel from Taytay Municipal Police Station, Palawan PPO PIU, 2nd PMFC, CIT PPC RID 4B, and 401st B MC RMFB, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 164 in Roxas, Palawan for the violation of Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines BP 881 as amended by RA 7166 with bail set at PhP36,000.00.

Additionally, the three other wanted persons arrested were alias “Edrian” (41), for the crime of Qualified Theft; alias “Marlon” (27), for the violation of Section 7(4) of RA 9175; and alias “Jeric” (21), for violation of Section 5(a) of RA 9262.

The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
