Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA, under the leadership of Police Brigadier General ROGER L QUESADA, arrested three most wanted persons and four others in separate manhunt operations launched regionwide on Monday, July 29, 2024.

Records from the PRO MIMAROPA Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division revealed the three most wanted persons as alias “Alex”, 28, alias “Mark”, 23, and alias “Timmy”, 25.

“Alex”, ranked as Palawan’s top 1 most wanted person, was arrested in Brgy. New Canipo, San Vicente, Palawan by the personnel from San Vicente Municipal Police Station together with Palawan PPO PIU, 2nd PMFC, and 2nd SOU PNP-MG, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 14 in Taytay, Palawan, for the non-bailable crime of Rape by Carnal Knowledge under Art. 266-A(1)(D) of the RPC as amended by RA 8353 and further amended by RA 11648 in relation to Art. 266-B of the RPC as amended.

“Mark”, ranked as the fifth most wanted in Occidental Mindoro, was arrested in Brgy. 7, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, by the elements from Rizal Municipal Police Station, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, for the non-bailable crime of Rape in relation to Art. 266-B of the Revised Penal Code.

“Timmy”, listed as one of the most wanted persons in Puerto Princesa City, was arrested in Sitio Tagbabanga, Brgy. Abo Abo, Sofronio Española, Palawan by joint personnel from CIDG Palawan PFU and PPCPO Police Station 2, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 13 (Family Court) in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness under Art. 336 of the RPC in relation to Sec. 5(B) of RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648 with bail set at PhP108,000.00.

Additionally, the four other wanted persons were apprehended: alias “Mary Jane” (48), for the violation of Art. 312 of the RPC (Occupation of Real Property Or Usurpation of Real Rights in Property); alias “Imelda” (48), for the violation of Sec. 78 of PD 705; alias “Christopher” (40), for Less Serious Physical Injuries; and alias “Juvy” (44), for Adultery.

The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
