Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA, arrested three drug personalities in a joint anti-illegal drugs operation with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Barangay San Pedro, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Puerto Princesa City Police Office Director Police Colonel ROBERTO M BUCAD revealed that (1) Homer Polea Salarda alias “Homer”, 42; (2) Mark Anthony Bombase Olbes, 46; and (3) Ervin Mapalad Cacayan, 40, all residents of the said city, were nabbed after allegedly selling one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing “shabu” worth Php 2,200.00 to a PDEA agent poseur-buyer.

Also seized from the suspects’ possession were: three pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of “shabu”; and other drug paraphernalia.

The estimated aggregate quantity of seized drug evidence is 10 grams valued at Php 68,000.00.

The data from the PNP Drug-Related Data Integration and Generation System (DRDIGS) of the Regional Operations Division show that PRO MIMAROPA had already launched 116 anti-illegal drug operations that resulted in the arrest of 124 drug suspects, yielding a total of 368.989 grams of “shabu” valued at Php 2,508,662.6 since January this year.
