Camp Bgen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Marinduque Police Provincial Office arrested three (3) individuals in anti-illegal gambling operation in Buenavista, Marinduque on June 16, 2023.

Police report revealed that personnel of Buenavista Municipal Police Station arrested Elmer Sadiwa Jaculbia, 65; Joan Salvacion Jaculbia, 42; and Kristine Pestaño, 26, for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong its’) Brgy. Daykitin, Buenavista, Marinduque at around 2:50 PM.

The authorities confiscated one set of playing cards, bet money amounting to Php325 and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges of violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
