Camp Bgen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office arrested three (3) individuals in an anti-illegal gambling operation in Gloria, Oriental Mindoro on July 11, 2023.

Police report revealed that personnel of Gloria Municipal Police Station arrested Cristy Silla Falcunit, 47; Reynaldo Hugno Salazar, 78; and Gabriel Rodeo Rey, 45, for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong its’) in Sitio Talisay, Brgy. Narra, Gloria, Oriental Mindoro at around 4:30 PM.

The authorities confiscated one set of playing cards, bet money amounting to Php201 and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges of violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
