Camp Bgen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office arrested three (3) individuals in anti-illegal gambling operation in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro on June 7, 2023.

Police report revealed that personnel of Mamburao Municipal Police Station arrested Angie Olvida Cabaltera, 36; Deing Fetalcurin Garab, 65; and Sheryl Alayon Midoranda, 38, for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong its’) in Sitio Seaside, Barangay Payompon, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro at around 3:15 PM.

The authorities confiscated one set of playing cards, bet money amounting to Php1, 643 and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges of violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
