Camp Bgen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office arrested three (3) individuals in anti-illegal gambling operation in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro on June 2, 2023.

Police report revealed that joint personnel of Puerto Galera Municipal Police Station and 404th B Maneuver Company of the RMFB arrested Ray Malintad Llanera, 43; Jezzel Valenzuela, 29; and Manuel Robles Oatis, 53, for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong its’) in Sitio Aplaya, Brgy. Sinandigan, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, at around 2:30 PM.

The authorities confiscated one set of playing cards, bet money amounting to Php268, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges of violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
