Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of Police Brigadier General ROGER L QUESADA, Regional Director, arrested a 43-year-old man in a joint buybust operation conducted in Baco, Oriental Mindoro on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at around 6:57 AM.

Police report revealed that alias “Ian”, 43, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece of transparent plastic sachet containing suspected ‘shabu’ in exchange for PhP1,000 to an undercover PDEA agent in an anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by PDEA MIMAROPA RSET together with the personnel of PDEA Calapan SIU, Baco MPS, NBI MIMAROPA and PHPT Oriental Mindoro in Sitio Labasan Brgy. Burbuli, Baco, of the said province.

Authorities confiscated approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php340,000.00, the PhP1,000 buybust money, and other related paraphernalia.

Apprehended person is now under police custody pending the filing of charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
