Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Occidental Mindoro Police Provincial Office arrested four (4) individuals with one (1) at-large during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Sitio Niyayos 1, Brgy. Poblacion, Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro on June 17, 2023 at around 5:00 PM.

Police report revealed that Lody Villaflores, 61; Beth Francisco, 60; Anne Llenes, 34; and Mary Ann Manrique, 40, were arrested by the personnel of Calintaan Municipal Police Station after being allegedly caught engaged in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘bet game’), while a certain Judy Mae Novelozo, 41, remains at-large.

Recovered from the crime scene were one (1) set of playing cards, bet money amounting to Php1,568.00, and other paraphernalia.

The suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges of violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
