Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The relentless effort of PRO MIMAROPA, under the leadership of Police Brigadier General SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA, has gained another significant accomplishment in tracking down four most wanted persons, and twenty-six other accused in separate manhunt operations from March 28-30, 2022.
Records from the PRO MIMAROPA Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division revealed that the four most wanted persons include Eric Abe Buensalida, 35; Dean Gaac Deoso, 57; Leonilo Cuzon Gregorio, 37; and Angelito San Jose Julian, 45.
Buensalida, Marinduque’s top 3 most-wanted, was captured in General Mariano Alvarez, Cavite by Gasan Municipal Police Station, Marinduque Police Provincial Office Intelligence Unit; CIDG Marinduque Provincial Field Unit; and Regional Intelligence Unit in Marinduque, under an arrest warrant issued by the Family Court, Branch 9, Boac, Marinduque for the crime of three counts of Rape.
Deoso, the top 1 most-wanted of San Andres, Romblon was nabbed in Brgy. Alapan 2A, Imus, Cavite City by San Andres Municipal Police Station under an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 82, Odiongan, of the said province for the crime of Qualified Trafficking in Person.
Gregorio, the top 4 most wanted person of Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro, was collared by Abra de Ilog Municipal Police Station under an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 44, Mamburao, of the said province for the crime of Attempted Rape.
Julian, listed among the most wanted persons of Brooke’s Point, Palawan, was arrested by Brooke’s Point police under an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 165, Brooke’s Point, Palawan for the crime of Robbery with Serious Physical Injury.
On the other hand, the police arrested twenty-six other wanted persons: eight in Palawan; seven in Oriental Mindoro; four in Occidental Mindoro; four in Marinduque; one in Puerto Princesa City; and one in Romblon.
Records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division revealed PRO MIMAROPA had arrested 126 Most Wanted Persons and 461 Other Wanted Persons in a brief span, January 1 to March 30, 2022.
