Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Marinduque Police Provincial Office arrested four (4) individuals in an anti-illegal gambling operation in Torrijos, Marinduque on July 24, 2024.

Police report revealed that personnel of Torrijos Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Jhon” (31), alias “Ivan” (21), alias “Larry” (28), and alias “Sherwin” (27), for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘pusoy dos’) in Brgy. Poblacion, Torrijos, Marinduque at around 12:45 AM.

The authorities confiscated one set of playing cards, bet money amounting to Php720.00, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
