Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, arrested seven most wanted individuals and eleven others in separate law enforcement operations conducted throughout the region on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
According to police reports, the seven most wanted persons are alias “Albert” (32), alias “Gerald” (19), alias “Martin” (49), alias “Manuel” (42), alias “Geronimo” (68), alias “Michael” (47), and alias “Regina” (42).
“Albert”, ranked as MIMAROPA’s top 3 most wanted, was arrested in Brgy. Mambalot, Brooke’s Point, Palawan, by joint elements of Brooke’s Point Municipal Police Station, CIT Palawan RID 4B, 401st B MC RMFB, Bataraza MPS, Palawan PPO PIU, 1st PMFC, NISGW, PHPT, and SOU PNP-MG, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 165 in Brooke’s Point, Palawan for the crime of Statutory Rape under Art.266-A of the RPC as amended by RA 11648 (6 counts) with recommended bail amounting to PhP80,000.00 each.
“Gerald”, ranked as the first most wanted in Puerto Princesa City, was apprehended in Brgy. Gogognan, Aborlan, Palawan, by the elements of Aborlan Municipal Police Station together with Palawan PPO PIU, and Quezon MSBC Narra MLET, based on an arrest warrant from the Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 13 (Family Court) in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, for the non-bailable crime of Statutory Rape under Art. 266-A, Paragraph 1(D) of the RPC as amended by RA 11648.
“Martin”, ranked as Marinduque’s top 1 most wanted, was apprehended in Brgy. Tawiran, Sta.Cruz. Marinduque through the efforts of Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station together with Marinduque PPO PIU, and CIT Marinduque RID 4B, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 9 in Boac, Marinduque, for the non-bailable crime of Statutory Rape as amended by RA 11648 (2 counts).
“Manuel”, listed as the second most wanted in Occidental Mindoro, was arrested in Brgy Poblacion, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro through the joint efforts of CIDG Occidental Mindoro PFU, Magsaysay MPS, RIU 4B, CIT Occidental Mindoro RID 4B, Occidental Mindoro PPO PIU, 1st PMFC, 405th B MC RMFB, and Maritime Police Station PNP-MG, based on an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, for the non-bailable crime of Statutory Rape under Art.266-A(1)(d) of the RPC as amended by RA 11648.
“Geronimo”, listed as the sixth most wanted in Marinduque, was apprehended in Brgy. Bagacay, Buenavista, Marinduque, by the elements of Buenavista Municipal Police Station together with Marinduque PPO PIU, PMFP, and RIU 4B, based on an arrest warrant from the Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 9 (Family Court) in Boac, Marinduque, for the violation of Section 5(1) of RA 9262, with bail recommended amounting to PhP120,000.00.
“Michael” and “Regina”, both listed as the most wanted persons in Occidental Mindoro, were arrested in Brgy. Buenavista, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro by joint personnel of CIDG Occidental Mindoro PFU, Sablayan MPS, PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU 4B, CIT Occidental Mindoro RID 4B, and Maritime Police Station PNP-MG, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Municipal Trial Court in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, for the crime of Indirect Contempt, with recommended bail amounting to PhP170,014.00.
Additionally, eleven other wanted persons were apprehended: alias “Jessie” (56), alias “Irene” (37), alias “Jhonie” (45), alias “Joey” (43), alias “Jameson” (35), and alias “George” (57), for the violation of Art.312 of the RPC (Occupation of Real Property or Usurpation of Real Rights in Property); alias “Judith” (28), for violation of RA 8048 as amended by Sec 6. of RA 10593; alias “Ernie” (65), for violation of PD 449 as amended by PD 1602 (Cockfighting Law of 1974); alias “Nathaniel” (50), for violation of PD 705; alias “Ricardo” (41), for Acts of Violence under Section 5(i) of RA 9262; and alias “Philip” (30), for Slight Physical Injuries in relation to violation of Section 10(a) of RA 7610.
The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
