Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of Police Brigadier General SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA, captured the number 3 most wanted person (MWP) of Calatrava town in Romblon on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 1:40 AM.

Romblon Police Provincial Office Director Police Colonel RAYNOLD A ROSERO revealed that Michael Magro Fajutina, 41, hails from Brgy. Linao, of the said town, was arrested in a law enforcement operation led by Calatrava Municipal Police Station under a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 82, Odiongan, Romblon for the crimes of Arson and Frustrated Homicide, with recommended bail bond amounting to Php 72,000.00 each.

The data from the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division disclosed that PRO MIMAROPA had already scored 273 arrests of most wanted persons since January this year; a 43.68 percent increase from the 190 MWP arrests in the same period last year.
