Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Police nabbed a 32-year-old man for allegedly possessing undocumented firearm and ammunitions during a law enforcement operation in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro on Thursday, September 15, 2023.

Police report revealed that at about 7:20 PM, joint personnel from CIDG Occidental Mindoro PFU, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU 4B, Provincial Intelligence Unit and 405th B MC RMFB, apprehended Jonathan Lasac y Barrientos, 32, after discovering firearm and ammunitions in his residence in Purok 7, Brgy. Bubog, San Jose, of the said province.

The authorities confiscated one (1) unit of Caliber .38 revolver without serial number along with five (5) pieces of live ammunitions for Caliber .38 loaded to the cylinder.

The operation stemmed from a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 45 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The arrested person and confiscated pieces of evidence are now under police custody for proper disposition.
