Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 52-year-old farmer wanted for attempted homicide and illegal possession of firearms was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Sta Cruz, Occidental Mindoro on May 30, 2023.

Police report revealed that at about 3:11 PM, personnel of Sta Cruz Municipal Police Station together with Occidental Mindoro Provincial Intelligence Team under Regional Intelligence Division, 402nd B Maneuver Company RMFB, Maritime Police Station, and Occidental Mindoro PPO 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted a manhunt operation that led to the apprehension of Larry Sison, 52, in Sitio La Esperanza, Brgy Mulawin, Sta Cruz, of the said locality.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Municipal Trial Court in Sta Cruz, Occidental Mindoro for the crime of attempted homicide and illegal possession of firearms with bail recommended amounting to PHP24,000.00 each case.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
