Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 63-year-old man wanted for cyber libel was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Gloria, Oriental Mindoro on June 14, 2023.

Police report revealed that Redentor Rodriguez Larga, 63, was apprehended by joint personnel of Gloria Municipal Police Station and Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit MIMAROPA in Barangay Malubay, Gloria, Oriental Mindoro at around 4:45 PM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 39 in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro for the violation of Section 4 (c)(4) of R.A 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012) with bail recommended amounting to Php48,000.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
