Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 38-year-old man wanted for illegal logging was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Taytay, Palawan on November 5, 2023.

Police report revealed that alias “Roderick”, 38, was apprehended by joint personnel from El Nido Municipal Police Station, Palawan PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, CIT Palawan RID 4B and NISGW in Sitio Maycogon, Brgy Batas, Taytay, Palawan at around 10:00 AM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 164 in Palawan for violation of Section 77 (formerly Section 68) of P.D 705 as amended) with bail set at Php84,000.00.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
