Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 55-year-old man wanted for qualified theft was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro on July 6, 2023.

Report revealed that Melchor Rodriguez Nicolas, 55, was apprehended by the personnel of Magsaysay Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Caguray, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro at around 11:42 AM.

The arrest was made by virtue of bench warrant of arrest issued by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Magsaysay-Rizal-Calintaan in Occidental Mindoro for the crime of Qualified Theft with recommended bail amounting to Php2,000.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
