Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 26-year-old man wanted for rape was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on July 9, 2023.

Report revealed that Rex Songco Tolentino alias “Aba”, 26, was apprehended by the personnel of Calapan City Police Station together with Oriental Mindoro Maritime Police Station and Provincial Highway Patrol Team in Brgy. Guinobatan, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro at around 1:35 PM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 39 in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro for the crime of Rape by Sexual Assault with recommended bail amounting to Php120,000 and for the crime of Rape under Art. 266-A of the Revised Penal Code with no bail recommended.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
