Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The intensified one-day anti-crime operation conducted by the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, Regional Director, resulted in the arrest of Coron, Palawan’s top one most wanted person and one other wanted individual on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

According to the police report, alias “Ramon”, 65, ranked as the top 1 most wanted person in Coron, Palawan, was apprehended in Sitio Nagbaril, Brgy. Bintuan, Coron, Palawan.

The arrest was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Coron Municipal Police Station, Palawan PPO PIU, 2nd Platoon 2nd PMFC, and 2nd SOU MG Coron MSBC.

“Ramon” was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 163, in Coron, Palawan, for the crime of Lascivious Conduct under Sec. 5(b) of RA 7610 with bail set at PhP180,000.00.

Meanwhile, the other arrested wanted person is alias “Joseph” (24), for the crime of Frustrated Homicide.

The arrested persons are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
