Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, arrested five wanted individuals in separate law enforcement operations conducted regionwide on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

According to reports, alias “Pedro”, 64, was arrested at around 3:30 PM by joint personnel from San Jose Municipal Police Station and Provincial Intelligence Unit Occidental Mindoro PPPO in Brgy. 7, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. The arrest was made based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 45 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, for the non-bailable crime of Murder.

In Brgy. San Roque, Calatrava, Romblon, alias “Jonalyn”, 33, was arrested by the personnel of Calatrava Municipal Police Station based on a warrant from the Regional Trial Court, Branch 82 in Odiongan, Romblon, for the crime of Libel (3 counts), with bail set at PhP10,000.00 each.

Similarly, at about 6:10 PM, alias “Erfe”, 53, was arrested by the personnel of Puerto Princesa City Police Station 2 based on a warrant from the Regional Trial Court, Branch 48 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, for the crime of Estafa (service of sentence) in Brgy. Irawan, Puerto Princesa City.

Furthermore, at about 6:15 PM, alias “Wui Chin”, 33, were apprehended in Brgy. Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City by the personnel from Puerto Princesa City Police Station 1 together with PPCPO PIU, CMFC, CIT Puerto Princesa City RID 4B, 401st B MC RMFB, and 2nd SOU Maritime Group. The arrest was made based on an arrest warrant issued by the Municipal Trial Court in Cities, Branch 1 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, for the crime of Attempted Homicide under Art. 249 of the Revised Penal Code (2 counts), with recommended bail amounting to PhP36,000.00 each.

Moreover, alias “Westner”, 25, was apprehended by the personnel from Linapacan Municipal Police Station. The arrest took place in Brgy. San Miguel, Linapacan, Palawan, based on a warrant for the crime of Direct Assault Upon Agent of Person in Authority under Art. 148 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by Section 13 of RA 10951 with recommended bail amounting to PhP36,000.00.

The arrested individuals are currently under police custody and will be turned over to the issuing courts for proper disposition.
