Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – A 57-year-old former NPA in the Barrio, who is listed in the Periodic Status Report (PSR), has voluntarily surrendered to the members of 403rd B MC RMFB in Brgy. Cabalwa, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro on August 13, 2024.

A police report revealed that “Ka Akbar”, 57, a former member of NPA in the Barrio under Sub-Regional Military Area (SRMA-4D) voluntarily surrendered at around 2:00 P.M.

The successful surrender of “Ka Akbar” was made possible through the assistance from the elements of CIDG Oriental Mindoro PFU, Mansalay MPS, 2nd PMFC, and PIU, all of Oriental Mindoro PPO; 105SAC, 10SAB, PNP-SAF; RID MIMAROPA; RIU MIMAROPA; ISU; 4IB, 2ID, PA; 23rd DRC; 23rd MICO; 203rd Infantry Brigade, 2ID, PA; and NICA MIMAROPA.

Said surrenderer is now being facilitated by the 403rd B MC RMFB for debriefing and assistance prior to enrollment to the Enhanced Comprehensive and Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
