Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Former communist rebel voluntarily surrendered explosive and live ammunitons in Sitio Kilapnit, Brgy. Panaytayan, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro on June 11, 2023.

Report revealed that at about 7:35 PM, “Ka Digos”, 27, a former communist rebel has voluntarily surrendered one (1) unit of hand grenade, one (1) unit of lower receiver of M16 rifle with defaced serial number, one (1) unit of aluminum magazine of M14 rifle and eleven (11) rounds of live ammunitions of 7.6 MM to the personnel of Mansalay Municipal Police Station together with Regional Intelligence Division MIMAROPA, Regional Intelligence Division NCR, Oriental Mindoro PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, 10SAB PNP SAF, RMFB 403rd B Maneuver Company, and Oriental Mindoro PPO 3rd Platoon, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.

The said weapons and ammunitions are now under the custody of Mansalay MPS for proper disposition.
