Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – The Marinduque Police Provincial Office arrested four (4) individuals in an anti-illegal gambling operation in Buenavista, Marinduque on April 11, 2024.

The police report reveals that personnel from Buenavista Municipal Police Station arrested alias “Ryan” (38); alias “Micaella” (43); alias “Mary Jane” (49); and alias “Virginia” (58), for their alleged involvement in the illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong its’) in Sitio Sampalokan, Brgy. Daykitin, Buenavista, Marinduque at around 4:10 PM.

The authorities confiscated one set of playing cards, bet money amounting to PhP252.00, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

The arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for the violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602
