Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 56-year-old man, who is listed as an illegal-drugs high value individual, was arrested in anti-illegal drug buybust operation in Bgry. Magsikap, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro on June 21, 2023 at around 7:45 AM.

Police report revealed that Reynaldo F Ebon alias Ebon, 56, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece transparent plastic sachet of suspected ‘shabu’ in exchange for Php1,000 to a police poseur-buyer in a joint anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by the elements of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit – Regional Special Concern Group (RPDEU/RSCG) together with Rizal MPS; Occidental Mindoro PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit; Provincial Intelligence Unit; 401st B Maneuver Company, RMFB 4B; and PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU 4B.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were five (5) more pieces of transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, the Php1000 buybust money, and other paraphernalia.

Apprehended person is now under police custody pending the filing of charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
