Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony coinciding with 27th PNP Ethics Day Celebration with the theme “Nagkakaisang Pambansang Pulisya, Sama-Sama sa Serbisyong Tapat at Marangal para sa Bayan” hosted by Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD) with its Guest of Honor and Speaker, Rev. Fr. Nestor Julao Adalia, Apostolic Administrator of Apostolic Vicariate of Calapan (AVC) of Calapan City Oriental Mindoro held at Parade Ground, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro about 7:30 AM of January 4, 2021.
During the activity top ten PRO MIMAROPA personnel were awarded in recognition for their Good Deeds beyond and above the call of their duties that bring impact to people’s lives and to the community which became viral in social media. Medalya ng Papuri were awarded to Top1, PSSg Erlyn Fabella Festin of Concuera MPS, Romblon PPO PRO MIMAROPA for out reach activities to the farmer conducted during her birthday and adopting an elder and providing all his basic necessities and reconstructing his house; Top 2, PSSg Buena Maulion Garcia of Odiongan MPS, Romblon for stopping along the road and rendering mechanical repair thus restarting the stopped car of a foreigner ; Top 3, PMAJ QUINT JOAN TABERNILLA QUINATANA of Marinduque PPO for constructing a home for an elderly; Top 4,PEMS John Ortega of Baco MPS Oriental Mindoro PPO for sharing his foods with strangers ; Top 5, PMAJ WILSON BACANI CUEVO of 3rd Platoon, 1st PMFC, Occidental Mindoro PPO for securing the uncovered "Palay" of the farmers ; Top 6, PSSg Albert Barateta Villoso of TPU, Oriental Mindoro PPO for buying all the bicos' of two minors selling in the streets ; Top 7, PLT EVANGELINE ESPINA LLAMAS of 1st Platoon 1st PMFC, Occidental Mindoro PPO for gift giving at Brgy. Pag-Asa San Jose Occidental Mindoro; Top 8, PCpl Mark Jayson Aban Apgao of Roxas MPS, Palawan PPO for locating the owner of the found money; Top 9, PLT FERDINAND G LACDAO of Sta. Cruz MPS, Marinduque PPO for escorting an elder evacuees and constucting her house and providing her necessities ; and Top 10, PCpl Karen Palay Garcellano of PPCPO for escorting an elder to her home.

FOUR NPA REBELS SURRENDERED IN PRO MIMAROPA

Camp Efigenio Navarrro, Calaoan City - Four active NPA members under Platoon Serna, KLG MAV operating in the province of Oriental Mindoro surrendered today, Monday, October 19, 2020 at Police Regional Office MIMAROPA.
The four rebels voluntarily surrendered to Brig Gen Pascual Munoz, PRO4B Regional Director through the concerted efforts of the members of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion led by its Force Commander, Lt Col Dennis Jose Llavore.
Three out of four former rebels were Milisyang Bayan and served as couriers in transporting supplies and other logistics to the group while 1 acted as a full-time NPA member.
In a press briefing held at Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, Munoz said that this development on anti- insurgency campaign is the result of the collective effort of the government and the PNP in the implementation of Executive Order No. 70 to End Local Communist Terrorist Armed Conflict in the country.
