On February 14, 2020 at 9:00 AM, pupils and parents of Young Eco-Warriors Child Development Center celebrated Valentines Day by initiating the contest for Mr and Ms Valentine’s 2020 held at Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City.

The activity started with an invocation rendered by Mrs. Maris Redogerio, PTA member of YEWCDC, followed by singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and Calapan Hymn. Afterwhich, the welcome remarks was delivered by PLTCOL AURELIO K CABINTAS, Asst. Chief, Regional Community Affairs and Development Division. The program was followed by the Royal entrance of Mr and Ms Valentines 2020 pupils and YEWCDC.

The highlight of the program was the awarding of sash and crown to the winner of Mr and Ms Valenties 2020. The search generated an amount of Php 86,289.00 in which 40% of the total amount during the canvassing will be used for PTA project for school development.

On February 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM, personnel of Regional Headquarters MIMAROPA led by PLTCOL IMELDA V TOLENTINO, Chief, PIO and PMAJ ROSITA CUDLI, Chief, WCPD conducted information dissemination and distribution of 200 flyers regarding R.A. 8353 to the residents of Sitio Silangan, Brgy. Lazareto and Xentro Mall in Brgy. Lumangbayan, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The Said activity was conducted regionwide simultaneously which aims to create awareness in the community that would help lower the rape incidents and promote gender responsive policing.

On December 11, 2019 at 9:00 AM, PCOL HORDAN T PACATIW, Chief, RCADD together with the personnel of Oriental Mindoro PPO led by PLTCOL CONCEPCION A SALAS, Chief, PPCRB attended the Validation/Declaration of Drug Cleared Barangays held at Tamaraw Hall, Provincial Capitol, Brgy. Camilmil, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The program started with an invocation led by PMSg Jane M Mendoza, PCR PNCO of Pinamalayan MPS followed by the mass singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Atty. Earl Durano, City Legal Council gave his welcome remarks on behalf of Dr. Christopher Hubert A. Dolor, Provincial Administrator of Oriental Mindoro. Director Wilhelm M. Suyco, CESO IV, Regional Director, DILG MIMAROPA, PCOL PACATIW, and Dr. Benito V. Daite, MD, MPH, Provincial Health Officer of Oriental Mindoro also delivered their respective messages.

It was followed by the validation proper wherein Director Mario D. Ramos, Regional Director of PDEA MIMAROPA together with the members of Regional Validation Committee conducted paneling and critics to the different presentations of Chiefs of Police of Calapan City, Puerto Galera, Socorro, Pinamalayan, Roxas, Victoria, and Pola together with Chairpersons of applicant barangays and their respective Municipaly/City Mayors.

Thereafter, Certificate of Drug Cleared Barangays were presented to the 21 barangays declared as drug cleared while Socorro was declared as a Drug Free municipality.

Lastly, Director Ramos, delivered his final message and gave emphasis on putting challenge to the LGUs to intensify their activities to keep these drug cleared barangays from being reverted to drug affected. He stressed that all concerned agencies must work together for the maintenance of a drug free barangays in the community.


On December 12, 2019 at 9:00 AM, parents and pupils of Young Eco-Warriors Child Development Child Development Center celebrated the Christmas Party 2019 at Camp Efigenio C, Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The highlights of the program were the distribution of gifts to the pupils of Young Eco Warriors Child Development Center from the Regional Director, PBGEN NICERIO D OBAOB. Likewise, the children enjoyed and were delighted by the different parlor games and the most awaited exchange gifts.

“Zumbata” with the pupils of Young Eco Warriors Child Development Center (YEWCDC) & PRO MIMAROPA Mascot “Patrolman Disiplinado” in connection with the celebration of 27th National Children’s Month.

On November 19, 2019 at about 3:30 PM, pupils of YEWCDC joined the PNP personnel of Regional Headquarters during the conduct of “Pulisteniks” at the parade ground of PRO MIMAROPA, Camp Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

The activity aims to develop confidence and self-steem among the pupils and for the PNP personnel to maintain their healthy lifestyle.
