Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – A 36-year-old man was arrested in an anti-illegal drug buybust operation in Sitio Amuguis, Brgy. Narra, Gloria, Oriental Mindoro on January 9, 2024, at around 12:55 AM.

A report revealed that alias “Zaldy”, 36, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” in exchange for PhP500 to a police poseur-buyer in an anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by the elements of Gloria Municipal Police Station.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were approximately 2.20 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP4,500; the PhP500 buy-bust money, and related paraphernalia.

“Zaldy” is now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
