Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police arrested a 51-year-old man listed as an illegal drug Street Level Individual (SLI) during a drug buybust operation in Brgy. Alfonso XIII, Quezon, Palawan on March 27, 2024, at around 1:45 AM.

A report revealed that alias “Bong”, 51, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” in exchange for PhP2,000.00 to a police poseur-buyer in an anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by joint elements of Palawan PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Quezon Municipal Police Station.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were approximately 1.7 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP10,000.00; the PhP2,000 buy-bust money; one (1) unit of Caliber .38 revolver with holster along with eight ( pieces of live ammunition; and other drug paraphernalia.

“Bong” is now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Republic Acts 9165 and 10591.
