Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – A 39-year-old man listed as an illegal-drugs Street Level Individual (SLI), was arrested during a drug buybust operation in Sitio Agsuli, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro on February 27, 2024, at around 12:30 PM.

A report revealed that alias “Darwin”, 39, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” in exchange for PhP1,000 to a police poseur-buyer in an anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by joint elements of Sablayan Municipal Police Station and Occidental Mindoro PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were approximately 0.66 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP2,000.00, the buy-bust money, and related paraphernalia.

“Darwin” is now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
