Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police arrested man listed as an illegal drugs High Value Individual (HVI) during a drug buybust operation in Sitio Tabtaban, Brgy. Tuban, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro on March 10, 2024, at around 8:05 AM.

A report revealed that alias “Felix”, 57, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece of heat sealed transparent plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” in exchange for PhP1,000.00 to a police poseur-buyer in an anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by the elements of Occidental Mindoro Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit together with Sablayan Municipal Police Station and PDEA Occidental Mindoro.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were approximately 0.46 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP4,000.00, the PhP1,000 buy-bust money, and related paraphernalia.

“Felix” is now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
