Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 29-year-old man wanted for illegal logging was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Barangay Model, Puerto Princesa City on May 31, 2023.

The arrested person identified as Antonio Paculana Barena, 29, who hails from Dumaran, Roxas Palawan, was apprehended by the personnel of Puerto Princesa City Police Station 1 at around 1:00 PM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Regional, Trial Court, Branch 95 in Puerto Princesa City for violation of sec. 77 of P.D 705 as amended, with bail recommended amounting to Php10, 000.00.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
