Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 38-year-old man wanted for violation of R.A. 10591 in Oriental Mindoro was arrested in police law enforcement operation in Lipa City, Batangas on May 29, 2023.

The arrested person identified as Joseph Alien Bautista Abel, 38, a native of Socorro Oriental Mindoro and presently residing in Brgy Dagatan, Lipa City was apprehended by the personnel of Lipa City Police Station together with Special Operations Unit 3-Maritime Group, Socorro Municipal Police Station, and 403rd A Maneuver Company, RFMB 4A in Brgy. Mataas na Lupa, Lipa City Batangas at around 10:47 AM.

The arrest was made by virtue of Alias Order of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 41 in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro for two (2) charges in violation of R.A. 10591 otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act”, with recommended bail amounting to Php60 000.00 and Php40,000.00, respectively.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
