Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 62-year-old businessman wanted in Quezon City was arrested in a law enforcement operation in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro on June 14, 2023.

The arrested person identified as Zenen De Guzman Yap, 62, a resident in Purok Pagkakaisa, Brgy, Bagong Sikat, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro was collared by the personnel of San Jose Municipal Police Station together with Occidental Mindoro PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, Provincial Investigation and Detection Management Unit and Maritime Police Station Occidental Mindoro in Brgy. Poblacion 7, San Jose, of the
said locality at around 9:45 AM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued on June 1, 2023 by the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 133, National Capital Region in Quezon City for the crime of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Damage to Property under Art. 365 of the Revised Penal Code with recommended bail amounting to Php6,000.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
