Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – After years of hiding, one of Mandaon, Masbate’s most wanted persons was finally captured in San Fernando Romblon in a joint law enforcement operation on Thursday evening, June 16, 2022.

Romblon Police Provincial Office Director Police Colonel RAYNOLD A ROSERO revealed that Dadito Roado Real, 60, who hails from Barangay Pulo Daco, Mandaon, Masbate, was arrested in Barangay Otod, San Fernando Romblon at 8:50 PM by operatives from Mandaon Municipal Police Station, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company and Provincial Intelligence Unit, all under Masbate PPO together with San Fernando Municipal Police Station of Romblon PPO.

Real was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest (WOA) issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 47, Masbate City, Masbate dated November 11, 2019 for the crimes of Murder and Frustrated Murder.

Arrested person is now in police custody and will be turned over to the issuing court as soon as possible.

The data from the Regional Investigation and Detection Management Division disclosed that PRO MIMAROPA had already recorded a total of 286 apprehensions of most wanted persons since January this year; a 36.84 percent increase as compared to the 209 MWP arrested in the same period last year.

Police Regional Office MIMAROPA Director Police Brigadier General SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA congratulated the successful arrest of the said wanted person and further urged all field commanders in MIMAROPA to sustain the collaboration with other PNP units in arresting all lawless elements and putting them behind bars. – RPIO MIMAROPA
