Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, Regional Director, the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA arrested nine (9) wanted persons during separate law enforcement operations conducted throughout the region on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.

Records from the PRO MIMAROPA Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division revealed the six most wanted persons as alias “Mark Angelo” (36), alias “Mark Bryan” (26), alias “Noli” (25), alias “Ronilo” (32), alias “Eliezar” (41), and alias “Christopher” (23).

“Mark Angelo”, ranked as Marinduque’s top 2 most wanted person, was arrested in Brgy. Matalaba, Sta. Cruz, Marinduque by joint elements of Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station and Marinduque PPO PIU, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 9 in Boac, Marinduque for the violation of Sec.5(B) of RA 7610 with recommended bail amounting to PhP200,000.00.

“Mark Bryan”, ranked as the second most wanted in Puerto Princesa City, was apprehended in Purok Lapu-Lapu, Brgy. Bagong Silang, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, by the elements of Puerto Princesa City Police Station 1 together with CIT Puerto Princesa and PIT Palawan both of RIU 4B, 401st B MC RMFB, PPCPO Tracker Team, and 2nd SOU PNP-MG, based on an arrest warrant from the Regional Trial Court, Branch 51 in Puerto Princesa City Palawan, for the non-bailable crime of Rape under Art. 266-A of the Revised Penal Code.

“Noli”, ranked as Marinduque’s top 4 most wanted person, was apprehended in Brgy. Nangka 1, Mogpog, Marinduque through the efforts of Mogpog Municipal Police Station together with Marinduque PPO PIU, PMFP, Maritime Police Station Balanacan, CIT Marinduque RID 4B, and PIT Marinduque RIU 4B, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 38 in Boac, Marinduque, for the crime Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Homicide with bail set at PhP120,000.00.

“Ronilo”, listed as the fifth most wanted person in Puerto Princesa City, was arrested in Brgy. Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan through the joint efforts of Puerto Princesa City Mobile Force Company, Police Stations 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, PPCPO Tracker Team, and PHPT Palawan, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 51 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan for the crime of Attempted Murder under Art.248 of the Revised Penal Code with recommended bail amounting to PhP120,000.00.

“Eliezar”, listed as the ninth most wanted person in Romblon, was apprehended in Brgy. Dapawan, Odiongan, Romblon, by the elements of Odiongan Municipal Police Station, based on an arrest warrant from the Regional Trial Court, Branch 82 in Odiongan, Romblon for the crime of Lascivious Conduct penalized under Sec.5(b) of RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648, with bail recommended amounting to PhP180,000.00.

“Christopher”, listed as one of the most wanted persons in Romblon, was arrested in Brgy. Poblacion, Ferrol, Romblon by the personnel of Ferrol Municipal Police Station, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 82 in Odiongan, Romblon for the non-bailable crime of ape under Art.266-A(1)(a) in relation to Art.266-B of the RPC.

Additionally, three other wanted persons were apprehended: alias “John” (26), for the crime of Attempted Homicide in relation to RA 7610; alias “Gerry” (59), for violation of RA 9262; and alias “Nelson” (47), for violation of Sec.5(1) of RA 9262.

The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
