Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, Regional Director, the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA arrested two (2) most wanted persons and thirteen (13) others during separate law enforcement operations conducted throughout the region on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

According to police reports, the two most wanted persons are alias “Willy” aged 27, and alias “Argie” aged 31.

“Willy”, ranked as the eighth most wanted person in Occidental Mindoro, was apprehended in Sitio Calumpit, Brgy. San Vicente, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, through the efforts of the Sablayan Municipal Police Station together with CIT Occidental Mindoro RID 4B, PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU 4B, Occidental Mindoro PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and 405th B MC RMFB. The arrest was made based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 45 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. “Willy” faces charges for the crime of Frustrated Murder, with recommended bail amounting to PhP200,000.00.

“Argie”, listed as the second most wanted person in Sta. Maria, Romblon, was apprehended in Brgy. Talumpok West, Batangas City, Batangas, by joint personnel of Batangas City Police Station, Romblon PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, Sta. Maria Municipal Police Station, CIT Romblon RID 4B, Batangas PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Batangas Maritime Police Station SOU 3. The arrest was made based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 81 in Romblon, Romblon. “Argie” is charged with the non-bailable crime of Rape in relation to RA 7610.

Furthermore, thirteen (13) other wanted persons were arrested as follows: alias “Anita” (51), for the crime of Estafa; alias “John Patrick” (27), alias “Jake” (43), alias “Alvin” (20), alias “Prince” (31), alias “Clarito” (45), alias “Jezzar” (29), alias “Aljay” (27), alias “Jerwin” (34), alias “Errol” (33), alias “Tonny” (46), and alias “Genesis” (34), for violation of Section 95 of R.A.10654; and alias “Johan Arnold” (64), for violation of RA 9262.

The arrested persons are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
