Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA, under the leadership of Police Brigadier General ROGER L QUESADA, arrested three most wanted persons and three others in separate manhunt operations launched regionwide on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
Records from the PRO MIMAROPA Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division revealed the three most wanted persons as alias “Legario”, 38, alias “Jordan”, 38, and alias “Giovannie”, 42.
“Joselito”, ranked as the first most wanted person in Occidental Mindoro, was arrested in Brgy. Poblacion, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro, by joint personnel from Magsaysay Municipal Police Station, 405th B MC RMFB, Occidental Mindoro PPO PIU, 1st PMFC, and PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU 4B, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, for the non-bailable offense of Rape.
“Jordan”, listed as the third most wanted person in Palawan, was arrested in Purok Masigla, Brgy. Port Barton, San Vicente, Palawan, by the elements of CIDG Palawan PFU together with San Vicente MPS, 2nd SOU PNP Maritime Group, Puerto Princesa City Police Station 2, City Mobile Force Company, and Provincial Highway Patrol Team, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 42 in Taytay, Palawan, for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness under Art. 336 of RPC in relation to Sec. 5 (B) of RA 7610 and Sexual Assault under Art. 266-A in rel. to Sec. 5(B) of RA 7610 (2 counts), with bail set at PhP108,000.00 and PhP120,000.00 respectively.
“Giovannie”, listed as one of the most wanted persons in Occidental Mindoro, was arrested in Brgy. San Roque, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, by joint personnel from CIDG Occidental Mindoro PFU, CIT Occidental Mindoro RID 4B, Occidental Mindoro PPO PIU, and San Jose MPS, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branches 45 and 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, for the crime of Qualified Theft (17 counts).
Further, the three other wanted persons arrested were alias “Panchovilla” (77), for the violation of RA 9262, alias “Elvin” (22), for Acts of Lasciviousness under Art. 336 of RPC in relation to Sec. 5 (B) of RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648, and alias “Jesus” (41), for the violations of Section 77 of PD 705 as amended and Section 7 paragraph 4 of RA 9175.
All arrested individuals are currently under police custody and will be turned over to the issuing court as soon as possible.
