Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA Regional Director, PBGEN JOEL B. DORIA, hailed the PNP’s recent anti-crime efforts in the region that resulted in the arrested of three (3) most wanted persons and seven (7) others on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

According to police reports, the three most wanted persons are alias “Adrian”, aged 24; alias “Ryan”, aged 38; and alias “Serafin”, aged 74.

“Adrian”, ranked as MIMAROPA region’s top 1 most wanted person was apprehended along Tapayan Bridge in Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, through the joint efforts of PIT Oriental Mindoro RIU 4B; RID MIMAROPA; Taytay Municipal Police Station, Rizal PPO; Oriental Mindoro PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit and Mansalay Municipal Police Station; 403rd B Maneuver Company RMFB; Naval Intelligence and Security Group; and 3012nd AISS, Element SOL under Philippine Air Force, pursuant to a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 43 in Roxas, Oriental Mindoro for the non-bailable offense of Rape in relation to RA 7610 (8 counts).

“Ryan”, who is listed as the seventh most wanted person in Quezon Province, was apprehended in Brgy. Catiningan, Socorro, Oriental Mindoro, by the efforts of the CIT Oriental Mindoro RID MIMAROPA together with Socorro Municipal Police Station, PIT Oriental Mindoro RIU 4B, PIT Quezon and Candelaria Municipal Police Station Quezon PPO, based on an arrest warrant issued by Branch 16 (Family Court) in Sariaya, Quezon for violation of Section 5(b) of RA 7610 with recommended bail amounting to Php200,000.00.

“Serafin”, who is listed as the 10th most wanted person in Oriental Mindoro, was apprehended in Brgy. Poblacion, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, by the elements of Mansalay Municipal Police Station, by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 43 in Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, for the non-bailable crime of Rape in relation to R.A. 7610.

Moreover, seven (7) other wanted persons were arrested: (1) alias “Elizabeth”, 52 and (2) alias “Ericson”, aged 46, for the crime of Estafa; (3) alias “Lindsay”, 19, for violation of Sec. 4 Par. D of R.A. 9995; (4) alias “Ryan”, 46, for Acts of Lasciviousness; (5) alias “Felix”, 32, for Attempted Rape; (6) alias “Isidro”, 57, for the crime of Simple Disobedience; and (7) alias “Roger”, 51, for violation of R.A. 8550.

The arrested persons are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
