Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA, led by Police Brigadier General JOEL B DORIA, has arrested three (3) most wanted persons (MWP) and five others during the regionwide law enforcement operation on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Police reports revealed the three most wanted persons as alias“Ka Guiller, 34; alias“Ka Sandra, 27; and alias “Chito”, 55.

“Ka Guiller”and “Ka Sandra, who were ranked as MIMAROPA’s first and second most-wanted persons and listed in the 3rd QTR 2021 Periodic Status Report being an assistant platoon leader (SPARU) and political instructor/medical officer (P5) under the Bienvenido Vallever Command, were arrested in Barangay Minara, Roxas, Palawan.

The joint efforts of Puerto Princesa City Police Station 2 and CIDG Palawan Provincial Field Unit led to their arrest, based on arrest warrants issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branches 96, 163, 164, and 165 in Palawan for the crimes of Murder, Frustrated Murder, Attempted Murder, Violation of R.A. 9851, and Violation of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Law on Firearm and Ammunition).

“Chito”, listed as the first most-wanted in Occidental Mindoro, was apprehended in Sitio Cabag, Barangay Poblacion, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro through the efforts of Magsaysay Municipal Police Station, 405th B Maneuver Company RMFB, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, Provincial Intelligence Unit Occidental Mindoro PPO, and 102SAC 10SAB PNP-SAF based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro for the crime of Rape by Sexual Assault under Art. 266-A of the Revised Penal Code, with bail set at Php400,000.00.

Additionally, five other wanted persons were apprehended, namely: alias “Jocelyn”, 41, for Indirect Contempt; alias “Elizabeth”, 52, for violation of BP 22; alias “Abegail”, 23, for violation of PD 1829 (Obstruction of Justice); alias “Roy”, 53, for Qualified Theft; and alias “Jay-R”, 36, for violation of the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act of 2004 (RA 9262).

PBGEN JOEL B DORIA commended the operatives and other PNP units for their efforts in apprehending these wanted individuals.

“I urged all unit commanders to remain relentless in the campaign against individuals wanted by the law,” said PBGEN DORIA.

The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts
