Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA, led by Police Brigadier General ROGER L QUESADA, has arrested two (2) most wanted persons (MWP) and 9 others during the regionwide law enforcement operation on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.

Police reports revealed the two most wanted persons as alias “Reynold” aged 44, and alias “Mirazzel” aged 32.

“Reynold”, ranked as the MIMAROPA’s first most wanted person, was arrested in Purok Baybay 2, Brgy. Manalo, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

The joint efforts of Puerto Princesa City Police Station 1, 401st B MC RMFB, CIDG Palawan PFU and PPCPO Tracker Team led to his arrest, based on arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 47 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan for the crimes of Qualified Rape under Art. 266-A, para. 1(A) and (C) in relation to Art. 266-B, para. 1 of the RPC as amended, Lascivious Conduct under Sec. 5 (B) of R.A. No. 7610 (3 counts), and Acts of Lasciviousness under Art. 336 of the RPC as amended in rel. to Sec. 5(B) of R.A. 7610 as amended by Sec. 3 of R.A. 11648 (2 counts).

“Mirazzel”, listed as one of the most wanted persons in Occidental Mindoro, was apprehended in Brgy. San Roque, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro through the efforts of CIDG Occidental Mindoro together with PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU4B, CIT Occidental Mindoro RID 4B, 102nd SAC 10SAB PNP SAF, and San Jose Municipal Police Station, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 46 in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro for the crime of Qualified Theft under Art. 310 of the Revised Penal Code (4 counts), with bail set at PhP60,000.00 each.

Additionally, nine other wanted persons were apprehended, namely: alias “Armando” (61), for violation of Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 (R.A. 9262); alias “Maria Monica” (31), for Estafa (3 counts); alias “Ruel” (52), for Acts of Violence under Section 5 (I) of Republic Act No. 9262; alias “Pahman” (59) and alias “Lucio” (54), for violation of PD 449 as amended; alias “Rey” (42), for violation of Section 5 (1) of Republic Act No. 9262; alias “Jernie” (38), for violation of Provincial Ordinance No. 819 series of 2005 as amended by Provincial Ordinance No.1643; alias “Nick” (34), for Malicious Mischief; and alias “Ronel” (23), for Slight Physical Injuries.

The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will be turned over to the appropriate courts.
